Around Lake Attersee and in the region of Salzkammergut there are numerous opportunities for extended hiking and mountain tours.
Sailing and diving
Lake Attersee is the largest lake located entirely in Austria. Its crystal clear water is of drinking water quality. It is wonderful to go for a swim or do water sports like sailing and diving.
Culture
The region of Salzkammergut and Lake Attersee are rich in tradition, history and culture. The beauty of nature has always inspired people to create something special. Artist Gustav Klimt created numerous masterpieces here.
Mozarts city of birth Salzburg with its top-class cultural programme can be reached within 45 minutes.

Cycling
In the region of Salzkammergut everyone will find a suitable tour. No matter whether you are planning to go on a mountain bike tour, bicycle racing or a relaxed bike tour with the family, we are happy to suggest you where to go.
Cycle paths such as the Salzkammergut Cycle Path with its 13 lakes or the Roman Cycle Path are also wonderful. Popular with racing cyclists is the lakeside loop (King of the Lake).
